I have been a regular user of Audition 1. My work involves working with files largely in the 8kHz format telephony and also invloves a lot pf batch processing. I find the “Edit script file” feature extremely useful since i need to cut a lot of files of different lengths into a fixed length. I am still with Windows XP and Audition 1. If i am forced to move to Windows 8, which seems very likely, would Audition 1.
